The Heart of Our NPO
Our organisation is dedicated to developing the
community; skills and youth development, creating employment opportunities, and
foster an inclusive society that supports individuals with special needs. But
it does not stop there. A lot of our time and effort is devoted to our
community.
At The Wise Ant, we believe that investing in the
youth is crucial for the betterment of our society. We provide various programs
for individuals, and initiatives designed to equip young individuals with the
necessary skills, knowledge, and opportunities to thrive in today's competitive
world. Through mentorship, educational programs, and training/skills, we aim to
empower the youth to realize their full potential and become future leaders.
In addition to youth development, The Wise Ant also
places great importance on skills development. Skills development plays a
crucial role in our NPO. Our goal is to equip individuals with the necessary
skills to excel in job placements. By providing skills workshops, we aim to
bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, ensuring that individuals are
well-prepared.
One significant leg of The Wise Ant is Aniko Home, a
special needs home located in Cape Town. Aniko Home NPC was created to provide
housing for a group of young disabled adults that has been diagnosed with
autism, intellectual disability accompanied by various other syndromes and to
introduce our programs into the system where we provide these adults with basic
human experiences, activities, and engagements that they otherwise would not
have access to.
